GG V 2

See what she has in her right hand? That's the "false phallus," that she uses (the knife she kills her dad with) to establish why she should have power. We're going to be talking about that a lot this year, and probably next year, too.
I just have one caption to finish for Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol 2. I am sorry it's taken so long, but really, it's almost done. In the meantime, here is a great featurette on Ahmanet for The Mummy:
This is particularly good because, if you watch it real closely, and I mean REALLY close, you can see the anti-Christian narrative they are weaving around feminism: in other words, it was the coming of Christ 2000 years ago that excluded feminism from being a legitimate political philosophy today because of its selfish tendencies and the way it bends women's identities to being that which it is not. In an ad for The Mummy which hasn't been posted on YouTube yet, Russell Crowe's character tells Jenny (Annabelle Wallis) that pyramids aren't tombs, they are all prisons. Why? Power is a prison, wealth can be a prison, and anyone foolish enough to think power will give them freedom, is a dangerous fool who absolutely should not be trusted with any power. After I get the post for King Arthur Legend of the Sword up this weekend, I will spend time on The Mummy, promise!
