It was so good.
Even better than what I could have hoped for! Critics are upset with the film because it's a total critique of socialism and quite damning to feminism. There is a mid-credits scene with Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), so do not leave until you have seen that because it is important. I would say the two most important scenes are the one in the subway when the "Brother" starts feeding; please pay attention to what happens and to whom it happens, and then, towards the end, just before the Squad finishes off the job, and what happens with Deadshot's (Will Smith) little girl appearing to him. Yes, please go see it, have fun, and get your tickets early!
This is the first trailer for the newest Christopher Nolan,... excuse me,.... "Sir" Christopher Nolan film (the one with Harry Styles) about the great Dunkirk evacuation at the start of World War II:
If you are tempted to compare this to Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan,... you're supposed to be. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is a battle of the directors, and it's Nolan vs Spielberg at ringside, who are you going to place your bets on? Dunkirk will probably be considered Nolan's greatest film; how can I say that? Because it would take tremendous love and knowledge to make this film about epic sacrifice and patriotism, and Nolan is the man who has all these virtues in abundance. I am getting Suicide Squad up asap.
